Jennifer La Fromboise-Wagner
Kommoyo’kstsiikinakimm from Aamsskáápipikani Nation. I started sewing in high school, making clothes and gifts. Later in life, I took some classes from our local fabric store, Native Life and learned more techniques to sewing and quilting. I was taught how to make a star quilt using the strip method, from Gloria Wilkenson, Sioux and Lisa Longtime sleeping, Blackfeet.
It took a long time to perfect my style of sewing. I especially enjoy the baby star because it goes together quicker and I can utilize novelty print fabric.
